By admin on Dec 28, In SrividyaBhakti. On Fridays how one can do archana to meru at home?. Any restriction to do sri chakra archana at home? The minimum requirement to keep a Srichakra in a house would be initiation into Panchadashi or any of the higher Srividya mantras. Also, like Saligrama, Srichakra when kept at home, requires a great deal of attention and purity on the part of the Sadhaka. It may be noted that along with Sridevi, crores of her Shaktis also reside in the Chakra. One should also periodicially perform the elaborate ritual of Navavarana Pooja, if not every day.
Before all this, the Srichakra has to be installed as per the procedures detailed in the Shastras. For a simple one, you may refer to Nityotsava. There are also certain Pramanas which ban the Pooja of a Meru Chakra in a house.
One should consult his own Guru in matters like this. While using a Sabija Chakra, more rules come into picture. One should think very carefully before bringing a Srichakra into the house.ஶ்ரீ சக்ர வழிபாடு எளிய முறை - SHRI CHAKRA MAHA MERU PRAYER - ANITHA KUPPUSAMY - VIHA ONLINE

We truly appreciate your patience. Sign Up By Day s :.There is news about pothigai Hills in Sangam literature. Courtallam is considered as one of the towns of Sangam period.
Though it was under the rule of Aoi Andren, the chola King Kochenkannan planted the sthalavriksham. All these prove that Kutralanathar workship has been in practice since Sanga Period. It also Proves the name and fame of Courtallam and the temple even then. According to the Puranas, the temple was a Vaishnavite temple.
Sage Agasthiar,by shrinking the image of Vishnu, converted into Kutralanathar temple. So the deity has permanent head-ache and to cure it,abisheka is performed every evening with 64 herbs. Moreover, during the pooja at night a concoction of herb is prepared as Prasadam. The conch shape of the temple indicates that it was a vaishnative temple. Since conch is sacred to vaishnavites. There are 89 inscriptions Kalvet in Thirukutralanathar temple.
Only the first inscription refers to the God as Thirukkutrala Perumal and those belonging to the later period refer to the God as Kutralathevan and Madevan. The reference to the date of the solar eclipse in the inscriptions indicates that the historians calculated the kings dynasty on its basis. Since the name Perumal is found only in the inscriptions of this chola King,it may be inferred that there were both the shrines of Lord Perumal and Lord Siva.Luxsocks u
Appar, Sundarar, Gnanasambandhar and Manikkavasahar, the four great poets, have sung about this this place. The name Courtallam gets the first mention only in Thevaram songs.

As it is the dancing hall of Lord Shiva,we find statues of dancing girls bedecked with jewels as if welcoming, on the stages of mandapas on both the sides of the entrance.Nice temple.
Missed out on this when i visited yercaud. Wow--I know Yercaud more as a sweet hill station. This is such a cool info. In btw, I had read in somebody else's blog that there are not many Saraswati temples in India. But I note her here. Have you written about Saraswati temples? Dear Bhavana, You are right I have not written about any of the dedicated temples like koothanur in Tamilnadu on Aalayam Kanden yet.
Regards Priya. Dear Mrs. Priya, your blog is excellent and very informative. For your kind info i am swamiji's founder of the temple daughter Abirami Priyadarshini. It is a powerful homam for the devi performed by 27 Siva Achariyas. Also recently my dad is building a 40 feet height Meditating Lord Shiva's statue in the temple. I would also like to inform that the roads to the temple is now being fully completed.
I will keep you posted on the forthcoming navarathiri functions at the temple. Thanking you, Abi. Thank you so much Ms Abirami for the information. Please do keep us updated on the functions at the temple. Dear Ms Abhi, When I came to the temple last time, I could not talk to anyone responsible to get complete information.
I just spoke to the person who was taking care of the pictures and literature. You should sit facing North and to the right of platform. The force of gravity of the northern direction will help you in your pooja.
Likewise in the temple where the deity faces East. Coconut oil with cotton wick should be used for lighting lamp Thiruvilakku Jothi. Ghee and gingerly oil can be mixed and used. Flowers without smell should not be used. It is not necessary to light incense sticks and camphor for pooja. You require only mantrams for pooja. Both Sri Chakram and Sri Mahameru possess same quality.
It is the residing power of the great power that directs, protects, destroys their make and ceaselessly work. This chakram is based on our body only. You can take Sri Adi Sankarar as your Guru or whoever you think a guru who has the qualities. This form of worship leads our mind to gradually evolve into Para Psychological levels. Instead fixing our thought on a picture of image or a concept, our elders thought worshiping Sri Chakram is better.
That is why, they place this chakram beneath the chief idol in the sanctum sanctorum of the temples. Only those who are endowed with purva punya will have inclination to worship Sri Chakram. The worship of Devi in Sri Chakram is regarded as the highest form of the Devi worship. Originally Lord Shiva gave 64 Chakrams and their Mantrams to the world, to attain various spiritual and material benefits.
For his consort Devi he gave the Sri Chakram and the highly coveted and the most powerful Shodashakshari mantram, which is the equivalent of all the other 64 put together. Shiva along with Shakti is engaged in the eternal dissolution and recreation of the universe. The Bindu in the center of the Sri Chakram is the symbolic representation of the cosmic spiritual union of Shiva and Shakti.
Apart from that the Sri Chakram also embodies countless number of deities and represents the whole of creation. Hence by worshipping the Devi in Sri Chakram one is actually worshipping the highest ultimate force in the Tantrik form. The Meru is the three dimensions of the Sri Chakram. If we returned to the two dimension Sri Chakram, and imagine that the Bindu in its center is the peak of a mountain.
Kanakkadara Divine Services
The imagine that the mountain is built up in tiers, each tier being one of the circles of triangles or lotus petals, with the outermost square representing ground level. Now, imagine a vertical spine down the center of the mountain, then at each point that the spine and a tier intersect, there is a chakra. There are many seated here that have problems in life, especially in business. Lots of things don't work out in business. Just meditation on the Shri Chakra Maha Meru is enough for a turnaround in one hour.
And one such person who is here, who we've tried it with is Dean Petzer. He'll tell you. He'll talk about something in the morning and he'll phone me or send me a message by three o'clock, "Thank you Guru, everything is good". And it's all to do with the Maha Meru.
The maha meru was kept by the brahmin class for themselves. They wanted to prosper. They didn't want to give the maha meru to ordinary people like us.
My guru, in his wisdom, has discussed and trained us in the maha meru, and has told us the importance of the maha meru. My guru is the only one in the world who has a three ton maha meru sri chakra in his sri chakra temple. And he has prospered in every aspect of his spiritual life.
But what happens to us, especially we Hindus? We think the ashram is one of the stalls in the Gateway. That's what we think. We think an ashram is like Gateway. We can go from shop to shop until you get the best. You go to Edgars, Truworths, Identity, and everywhere else.
And eventually you buy it from Price.
Sri Mahameru Yantra Pooja at Home
That's what you happens on the spiritual journey. Eventually you get it from Price, and it won't last. There are some devotees used to be here that were doing extremely well until they wanted to get better. You know Gayathri Mata always decides that half a loaf is better than no loaf, and She'll give you half a loaf. That means you can feed everybody, put some money in the bank and buy yourself a nice car.
And they would stand at 3am in the morning, at other venues in queues waiting to see some impersonation. And he asks them to do something else. You know what happens? Like what happens when you buy from Price: the name tag is taken off.
Price doesn't have a name tag on the clothes. They take it off. That's what happens. You're getting something without a name tag, and the name tag here is God.
So when you take this meru home, believe this, it will work for you if you're sincere and devoted. If you're not sincere you think, "I'll keep it in the prayer-room, Guru won't know".Please be advised that there is a dress code for entering the Temple.
Most people can appreciate the special beauty of the full moon. According to Sri Vidya, there is a uniquely auspicious energy available to us on the full moon day, and so this day is especially good for worshipping Sri Lalita Maha Tripurasundari Devi.
In particular, it is highly auspicious to perform Sri Chakra Puja. As we proceed through each avarana, we come closer to the central bindu, the source of bliss and divine consciousness. In the puja, we worship a physical Sri Chakra, the Meru Chakra that has been installed in the main sanctum. For Navavarana Homam, the nine levels of Divinity with their respective goddesses are invoked into the sacred homa fire, and appropriate offerings are made.
When Navavarana Puja or Homam is performed on Purnima, the powerful energy of the full moon magnifies the energy of the mantras and yantras, generating the divine vibrations of Sri Lalita Devi. This is a uniquely nectar-like blessing from Divine Mother that can only be experienced, not described.
In truth, the worship of the Sri Chakra is both an art and a science designed by divinely inspired sages; its regular performance clears all obstacles, bestows all blessings, and carries us inexorably towards the highest goal of oneness with the supreme Goddess Sri Rajarajeswari Devi.
Whether one performs the puja, witnesses it, or just takes the sacred visesharghyam, one is sure to receive the most loving and compassionate blessings of Sri Rajarajeswari Devi. Learn more….
